About the instructors
Amy has taught Family and Consumer Science at SJA for the past 13 years. She specializes in teaching the sewing component of the curriculum. She has a BFA from LSU and an additional degree in fashion design from FIT in NYC.
Linda is a fulltime FACS assistant in sewing. She comes to SJA from Ingleside Mother’s Day Out, where she spent 18 years teaching pre-school. She excels in art and design and has sewn from a very early age. She has participated in a variety of sewing, quilting and craft workshops. Finished projects include sorority gowns, laser-cut skirts and children’s wear.
