Come enjoy the beautiful teaching kitchens at SJA. Campers will experience the joy of creating meals and treats to share with family and friends. At camp, the girls will learn food and kitchen safety, proper measuring techniques and cooking skills to use for a lifetime. Recipes will include a variety of cuisines and utilize different cooking skills. Each week of camp will have different recipes, and campers will leave with a cookbook of the recipes we make.

Open to rising 5th-9th grade girls
$165 (includes all ingredients for 3-4 recipes per day and a cookbook at the end of the week)

About the instructor
Yvette has taught Family and Consumer Science at SJA for five years. She specializes in the nutrition component of FACS and teaches all cooking classes at SJA. Yvette has a bachelor’s degree from The Chef John Folse Culinary Institute at Nicholls State University.
