Usernames, passwords and campers information are reset yearly. When purchasing your first summer camp, you will be asked to setup your registration. Please note, your yearly registration fee of $35 does not hold your place in any camp. You must pay the full camp cost for your camper’s place to be held.

Campers enjoy games, stories, crafts, recreation, computer time and lots of fun. Where else can you travel around the world, compete in the SJA Olympics or celebrate every holiday all on the same campus? On Fridays, campers will have fun in the sun on an inflatable water slide or create their own icy treat at the snowball stand.

Lunch: Campers bring their own lunch and drink, or they may purchase through SAGE Dining Services (download form). We are not able to heat cold lunches.

SJA Help Desk Service -Session 1

Come learn about technology while helping SJA to prepare for an international service project. Campers will learn about the Help Desk’s technology-based mission work both locally and internationally. They will work with our team in preparing computers and other electronics that will be used in future service projects. Students may bring their own electronic devices to be repaired and donated. Campers will enjoy the opportunity to see the results of their work in their community and abroad.

Soccer Camp

Campers will learn the fundamentals of soccer, including footwork, dribbling, passing, defense and shooting. They will also learn about game play and use all skills acquired throughout the week to compete in practice games daily. An emphasis is placed on teamwork and sportsmanship.

Softball

This is a skills camp in which players will learn the fundamentals of softball, including fielding, batting and base running. They will also learn about game play and use all skills acquired throughout the week to participate in practice drills and game-like situations. An emphasis is placed on teamwork and sportsmanship. This camp will take place at Traction Sports Complex, 9222 Burbank Drive, Baton Rouge, 70820.

Softball Pitching Clinic

This clinic provides instruction for both beginning and advanced players. This can be enjoyed by itself or in addition to the skills camp. This clinic will take place at Traction Sports Complex, 9222 Burbank Drive, Baton Rouge, 70820.

Spanish Camp

Campers will be able to learn Spanish through media, painting, songs, games and activities that are fully taught through immersion. Students should be ready to have a blast in another language. No prior Spanish necessary, just the desire to be active and play.

Study Skills Basics

Get a head start on school by learning some study strategies for success at Study Skills Basics. Girls will discover their personal learning style, time management and organizational strategies, tips for reading to remember, how technology can enhance our learning and active study strategies for test preparation. Interactive games and activities keep this camp fun.

Theater

Participants will experience the thrill of putting on a theatrical production. Previous acting experience is not necessary. Campers will play improv games, begin learning the basics of acting and have fun collaborating with friends to produce a great show. A final performance will be open to friends and family.
